| dj - dust jacket condition. |
| hc - hard cover. |
| pp - pages. |
| nd - no date. |
| gilt - either gold embossed or edges of paper has been
gilded. |
| uncut - edges of the pages are untrimmed usually found
in 19th century books. |
| b&w - black & white photos. |
| Buckram - wax infused cloth. |
| exc/excellent - condition no rips, tears or marks unless
described. |
| vgc - very good condition, Usually slight wear to edges or scuffing
or light foxing. |
| gc - good condition, showing normal wear for the books
age, usually some slight damage or wear through use. |
| ave - usually a worn well used book with obvious signs of wear.
ave meaning average. |
| poor - very worn, written in or underlined. Spine damage
etc. All defects are described where possible in all categories. All damage
to books is described to the best of my ability. If no condition described
then condition is average. Where possible author & year of book & edition
is listed. |
