It
was felt that the shop was getting too big for the house so we decided
to build a shop within my 3 car garage, which is now a 1 car garage!
Every-one helped out including my daughter Laura. It took approx 2 months
to build with internal walls, new front door and a plastic membrane anti-damp
course put in place on the east wall. With air conditioning and heating
fitted the first stage is now finished. The next stage will be closing
off the original garage door and making the ceiling look more presentable.
Our opening night was great fun with 20 people attending and at the
count of 10 party poppers were fired to officially open the new shop.
This new arrangement is much more convenient for customers, especially
my disabled customers who can now visit without worrying about stairs.
Everyone who visits loves the new location and with office and shop in
one room I can serve my customers with greater ease than before.
